One of those must see National Parks, Joshua Tree is about 50 minutes from Palm Springs and offers unique desert landscapes as well as overnight camping for either tents or RV's.  Here are some photos from a recent trip.

ENGLISH COTTAGE PALM SPRINGS - Welcome

From the moment you step onto the property at the front gate of the English Cottage and are greeted by a beautiful fountain, you know you have arrived at a very special place.  Located just a short walk or drive from the downtown Palm Springs strip, this en suite 4 bedroom, 6 bath house welcomes you to a truly remarkable Olde English Tudor style home. All bedrooms have their own TV and bathroom and there is a guest bath off of the living room and pool bath in the yard.

The attention to detail from the dramatic entryway with post and beam ceilings to the custom wood work throughout, the impressive design details will draw you in as you first encounter the giant round dining table that comfortably seats 12.  The dining room sits adjacent to a beautifully appointed gourmet kitchen with a 6 burner gas Wolf Range with a double oven and built in griddle. There is plenty of counter space so everyone can be in the kitchen at the same time either helping as a sous chef or keeping the chef company.

As you continue towards the living room, you will be greeted by a 65” TV with tons of seating which looks out towards the beautiful grass lawn and relaxing swimming pool.  The views from the beautifully landscaped yard look up at the San Jacinto mountain range and are stunning both during the day as well as at night.  Sit around the fire pit table or share a drink at the outdoor bar, there’s plenty of room to get lost in this one of a kind home. The stunningly lit back yard will enchant you with the giant Washingtonian Palm Trees and let you know you have truly arrived in Palm Springs.

Don’t let us forget one of the best parts, this comes with a pool table situated in its own arbor style game room with a 55” TV to watch sports or a Wurlitzer upright piano to entertain guests.  There are plenty of board games to keep you busy for hours.  During those cold winter nights, there is a beautiful wood burning fireplace.  The library of books located throughout the house will provide plenty of choices to read or re-read your favorite classics.

Situated 5 minutes from the Palm Springs International Airport, you will also be close to Ruth Hardy Park, the Movie Colony, the Palm Springs Aerial Tram as well as lots of shopping opportunities.
